Fascias, Soffits and Guttering in West Bridgford
Larger houses mean longer gutter runs, more downpipes and taller eaves, and that makes the roofline a bigger job in West Bridgford than on a small terrace. A bay, an extension and a garage can add further corners and joints, each one a place where a leak can start. Work at height on taller houses needs proper access, which is another reason to bundle the jobs together.

We cover West Bridgford for new uPVC guttering, fascia and soffit replacement, downpipes, bargeboards and the dry verge. Doing the whole roofline at once often makes sense, because it avoids setting up access more than once. The first step is a close look at the boards and the fixings, which tells us whether a repair or a full replacement is the sensible route.
What we fit and repair
A run of guttering that has been patched many times is usually due for replacement, and new uPVC with the right outlets and brackets will carry water to the drains properly. Fascia boards are inspected as the old gutters come off, since rot is often hidden behind them. Downpipes and the connections to the drains are checked as well, as a cracked pipe can wet a wall as badly as a leaking gutter.
Soffits close the eaves and, where required, include ventilation so the roof space can breathe.

- Gutter repairs and replacement sections
- Fascias and soffits, with the structure checked
- Downpipes and connections
- Bargeboards and dry verge
Extensions and awkward corners
Where an extension meets the main house, the guttering often has to step or change direction, and the flat roof may drain into it. Getting the falls right at these points matters for keeping the water moving. Dry verge systems and bargeboards at gable ends finish the roof edge neatly and protect the mortar underneath.

Fascias, Soffits and Guttering in West Bridgford: common questions
Can fascias be replaced without redoing the gutters?
It is possible but awkward, because the gutters are fixed to the fascia and normally have to come off. Replacing both together is usually neater. If a section of fascia has rotted, we would also look at the rafter ends behind it, which can be affected by long-term dampness.
Is it worth replacing sound gutters with a new set?
Not if they are working and properly fixed. We would only suggest replacing gutters that are cracked, leaking or sagging beyond repair. If you are unsure, send photos and we can say which it looks like.
